We're getting a lot more traffic than we have in the past and this is resulting in problems with the site loading. We are currently fixing the problem by moving WrongPlanet.net onto 2 different servers; one for the database and one for Apache. Consequently you may experience more downtime than usual while the migration takes place.

Thanks for your patience while we work to make the site zippy again. And I apologize for the downtime we've had over the past couple days.

Thanks for working on the issue. I was thinking someone was DDoS'ing the site so I'm glad it's just moving the servers over.

What does that mean? That half the people will be one side and half on the other and we can choose what side to be on?

If i understand it right, it will be one site, like it is now, but the workload will be split between two servers.

It's just a technical detail - as a user, you won't see anything different except for the fact that the site works better...

I was wondering for a second what went up with the site for a split second?

@Titangeek: To answer your questions about 2 servers, yes everything will still run the same but it will run simultaneously between the two servers and I assume it will act as one? I might be wrong but who knows?
