A few months ago I realised I might have mild AS and so I started reading various blogs and onlline discussions about other peoples experiences of AS and in particular women on the spectrum. This confirmed my suspicion that I have AS and has made me happier to know Im not alone and allowed me to understand my personality better.
Anyway some thing that I read has stuck in my head but I cant remember all of the discussion and cant remember where I read it but think it would benefit me to read it again.
It was about how trying to have a conversation when you have AS can make you feel like you have to walk a mile to your drawers or filing cabinet and open them to find the next sentence or answer to someones question or find a conversation topic and when you have walked the mile you find the drawer is empty. Or somedays you cant be bothered to walk to the drawer at all.
Does anyone by any chance know where this discussion was??
