The poll sort of speaks for itself. But please vote for a talent if it truly is a talent (and not just an interest). And describe more specifically in your post if the poll doesn't quite do your vote justice. The more descriptive info the better. Brag a little if you feel like it. ;)

Also, if you have a talent but it's not in the above poll, post about it, too.

I'm very good at language, I have an excellent ear for music and can sing and harmonise in tune but can't play an instrument with any proficiency, and I am good at certain types of art/design/crafts.

I have a pretty good memory. I do well at history and geography tests because of that, because things just stick after reading them a couple times.

I'd also say I'm pretty good at writing, but not the creative kind (sadly); it's just that when people read stuff I write they can understand it clearly.

I used to be good at learning languages, but not so much now :( Hmm, I am good at Latin at school and that has a hard grammar. Well, maybe I just said I'm not that good anymore because my attempts at learning German from books have failed, but that might be because the book I'm using doesn't have a good structure. That raises my self-esteem :)

Music/Writing, though I'm very much lacking in inspiration.

I'm excellent at language acquisition (or at least, I am at Latin and Spanish) and I'm quite a good writer as long as it isn't fiction. I'm fine with essays, and I like to think that my poetry has been getting better (although the only feedback I have on it is from poetry.com, who will praise any drivel if they think it might get someone to pay them).

I am very good at math and my memory is decent.... and yet bad at the same time. I am good at trivia and studies and can remember those things without a problem but I forget a lot of life stuff that I do.

Shame there is not a tick box option

Talents: Music, Memory, and Writing.

I can sing and improvise harmony, compose new melodies, and quickly (a year) be proficient in any musical instrument.

When interested in something, I need only be exposed to facts about that subject once in order to memorize them. I have only average memory for numbers; names and faces are below average.

I communicate efficiently in writing and have a large vocabulary. When I speak, I use the same sort of thought I use to write things down, so that I am "reading aloud" from my mind.

An interesting thing about me and math:
For me, math is a low point--I'm just average. I can do mental math, understand calculus, and learn new concepts in math just about as well as any college-educated person.

Calculus is much easier for me to learn than algebra was; algebra was easier for me than long division. As the math gets more and more abstract and expands into more and more dimensions, I seem to be catching up (and perhaps will one day surpass) my NT peers. I think I learn math differently from other people.

The problem with Aspie intelligence is whether or not we're motivated to use it...

I did not vote but I have to say none. If I had any skills or talent I would not be in the
hole I am in now.

I doubt you don't have talents.

If you'll look at my post, it looks like (and probably is) a lot of bragging. But despite those talents, I've been kicked out of college for bad grades, spent two weeks in a mental insitution, weigh 200 pounds (obese for a 5'1" girl), have only two friends, and have never held a job more sophisticated than painting walls. The problem with me is that my obsessions are literally out of control; I enjoy them, and I accomplish things within those fields; but they're nonfunctional--they won't get me a job or get me good grades.

I think that you probably do have talents; you probably also have problems that are overwhelming your talents right now.

Languages and Memory, though my memory works strangely. I can recall in detail the exact words someone used in an unimportant conversation that took place 15 years ago, but if I walk out of the kitchen while I'm baking something, I instantly forget that I was baking until it's burned.

I have talents in more than one of those areas.
Music is my biggest strength. I am studying at my country's top tertiary music institution, and have skills in performance, composition, music teaching, conducting and music technology. The usual response to my musical ability is *drop jaw* "You're some sort of musical genius, aren't you?". As well as all that, I have perfect pitch.

My maths skills are very good. I can do most calculations faster than most people can press the buttons on a calculator.

If I am interested in something, I will remember everything that I learn about it. My general memory is far above average.

When I have learned languages I was very good at picking them up.

I have always been told that I am an exceptionally talented writer.

I'm not sure, which of those traits would apply to being good at video games. Viso-spacial maybe?
