I realy hate the fact that when I want to change my profile I have to to click on a link which sais "Your Profile" - It is not your profile, It is MY profile.....

Is this just silly, 'cause it realy bugs me.

Well, if you clicked on "my profile," you would be clicking on someone else's profile. At least when it says it's your profile, you know that it's yours.

I don't understand this.

But which "you" is the "your" in "Your Profile" referring to? I'd think it's the "you" you're logged in as ("You're logged in as _____" in User Stats).

Actually it bugs me when it says MY profile, because it's as if the webmaster is trying to be buddy-buddy with me. Arg like my teachers in elementary school, they asked me "What are we doing" when I was the one doing it.

The problem is your internalizing the website when its external.. your actually interacting with a computer system somewhere else in the world.

It wants to provide you with a link to your profile so it calls it "your profile" if it said "my profile" the server would be referring to its own which is incorrect.

Yeah people where I work like to walk up, look over my shoulder and say that and I just want to spin around and claw their eyes out.

Sometimes I do snap at them "*WE* are not doing anything, *I* am doing something *YOU* are simply being an irritation."
