I put this in general autism because I think it's an autie urge. I may be wrong. Anyway, seeing pictures of this tree makes my hands twitch. I want to pop them off so bad. I'm the same way with lichen.

The image is protected and won't display. It would be better to post a link to the page it is on.

It makes me want to pull all the berries off and then start peeling the bark.

The berries are fair game as that is how a tree propagates, but if you pull off all the bark it will die, I forget the technical terms but all its ability to live is in that tiny strip of matter maybe only a couple of millimetres thick and all the rest of the wood underneath is basically dead, do you really want to be known as the scourge of trees?

Heaven's no ... I love trees. I will have to restrain myself.

Exactly. There's something about unsmooth surfaces like peeling paint or bubbles that make me twitch. Not that I would hurt the tree. My son has some blackheads in his ears and it's all he can do to fight me off. Kidding, but still.

It's kinda freakish when you're not used to seeing a tree like that. Maybe even pornographic.

It looks weird, like a tree that has the plague.

The bottom picture looks like arboreal bubble wrap.

I think I have that too, but perhaps not to a phobic stage. Like Mr. Xxx said, it's just wrong. BTW I Googled lotus seed pod and woman's breast. Ack! 8O
Peeling paint also drives me nuts. It needs to be smooth, dammit.
