Are there those of you out there who who can't stand pants? I am usually limited to getting my clothes from a thrift store so don't have a lot of control on size and brand. But even pants that are supposed to be slacks and aren't denim are getting more and more uncomfortable.

I've tried washing them, using softener in the dryer, using liquid softener in one of those those plastic round things that go in the machine, using liquid softener that you add near the end of the cycle....It's still too rough.

Why is it harder to tolerate cloths at some times and not others?

Anyone have any favorite remedies to soften material? Or any other advice? By the way, I hate lose clothing. It rubs against me while the tighter clothes are consistent. Shirts are ok. Skirts are ok with nylons. I know some people with AS or ASD don't like nylons but to me they keep things from rubbing against me directly.

How about leggings? I live in cotton leggings when I'm a home. I buy them a size larger so they're not tight, but being leggings, they're still fitted enough not to fall down :)

What about wearing nylons under the pants? I have issues with certain materials too, and then certain ones that are ok most days, I can't stand for a day or two.
