all my life reading has been hard for me, i have to sound out every word, slowly. sometimes i finish a sentence or part of, and it doesn't make scense to me, so i have to reread it and i found that i processed a word or phrase wrong. that i have had to deal w/ on a constant basis.
what comes and go's, and is harder for me to detect is when i hear something wrong.here and there i have thought that someone was screwy, or i would say what and when they repeated it i would understand them(at first i think it's them, and the more it happens i think about me)
i was watching southpark and heard butters say"must kill jesse jackson" and later, watching that episode again, i heard it right"must kill ronald reagan". to check the episode i clicked to the middle of the episode and heard it, started it over again, and knew i heard it wrong.
i belive in self-theropy, and use cbt, and monitor my thoughts and the world around me.with the exception of mild to moderate depression, i do pretty good. with this new problem i can't just relisten to something all the time, and hate asking someone to repeat them selfs, not to mention the times i don't catch it.
anyone know a good practise for such a condition? would love some feed back, thank you.

No that's still dyslexia. I have it and I was told that it's basically not being able to spell properly or read very well in general. It's also characterized by memory problems. Hyperlexia is the reverse of dyslexia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlexia You may even have auditory processing disorder. You could get your Learning disabilities re-assessed and find out what you can do about them from a professional.

I have a problem hearing things wrong or seeing things wrong-an example-in the Pocono area there is a location sign on I-380 I-80 that says "Scott Run" well when I say it the first time I thought it said "Scrotum" and started to laugh. Thats just one example of me hearing and seeing things.

Yeah the comprehension is pretty good for me too. I can get away with skimming something just looking for key words or phrases that I need out of a paragraph. I don't read real books in my spare time I read comic books. Despite that I took a writing class once and my teacher told me dyslexics make good creative writers. Needless to say despite the fact that I had 100 spelling mistakes in my work I still got the highest mark in the class for the contents of my poetry and mini novel.

Haha, I do that sometimes. I'll read something at first glance, and when it doesn't make sense or sounds funny, I'll be like "Wait.', and look again and get a good laugh. It happens to me sometimes when people are talking. It's mostly when I'm not paying much attention when it happens. Say I'm doing something in the kitchen, like making a sandwich, and my mom comes in to say something, I'll mishear a word, look at her funny, and say "I know I heard that wrong.". She does it as well.
