I'm about 2/3rds through this and am really enjoying it. It's a memoir by a man who was diagnosed as an Aspie as an adult and used the information to figure out how to save his failing marriage. I thought at first it was going to irritate me by being all about how he's wrong and he has to change, but his wife has a really positive attitude towards him and their marriage.

I relate to him so much. (Although sometimes I relate to his wife, too. Finch also has ADHD and I'm just about positive my husband does as well.) But I don't think I've ever read anything written by an Aspie that reminded me so much of myself. It's really funny, too.

I've never heard of it.

Might be worth looking into. Thanks!

It's very new, might not even be actually on the market yet. (I got a pre-publication copy.) But keep your eyes out for it.

One of the things I'm thinking now is how sad it is that Finch doesn't realize there are things he can do to help some of his issues -- unless perhaps he tried in the past and just doesn't go into that. His extreme anxiety is very familiar to me and I have found some techniques that help it. Living with it takes so much time and energy for him.
