I'm watching "The Wizard" right now. I've always heard that it is like the kiddie version of Rainman. I mean big brother kidnaps little brother from instution and tried to profit off of his special talent. Corey seems a little bit more companssionate twoards Jimmy than Tom Cruise's character does twoard Dustin Hoffman's though. Jimmy is always running away at the drop of a hat and likes to stack or line up his toys. They say he is emotionaly disturbed and tramatised by the death of his sister but he seems more autistic to me. I've heard that a trama can make an autistic person more autistic. This movie was made in the 80's when much wasn't known about autism, so is it possible Jimmy is really autistic.

Could be autistiform behaviour through traumatic experiences, a person acts out autistic traits for a given time where the person didn't do so before the traumatic experience(s).

And yes, it sounds alot like Rainman.
