Thanks very much for the welcome. I don't think I'd be comfortable with getting a professional diagnosis either, and that's for a different reason... I'm a minor (16), and I don't consider my parents very understanding in the subject of mental "disorders," or mental disorders. (I hope you get what I'm trying to say with my quotation marks!) I know for a fact, 100% sure, that I have OCD, for example, and they don't seem to even understand the concept, and that no, in fact, it's not something that everyone has..... Plus, there's a bit of a language barrier, as I'm among the first generation of American-borns in my family. My parents aren't fluent in English. Not only that, but I don't think that it's important enough for me, just to know for sure whether I truly have it or not, to go through all this trouble, what, with my parents and all, eh. Yes, it's important enough for me that I have a pretty strong-ish to moderate interest, but it's not as if I'm having extreme difficulties in life, so it's not such a giant deal to me that I'd feel it strongly needed for me to go to a professional. I'd just like to get a rough idea- I understand your saying that it's not possible to diagnose someone over the Internet, but is there a way I can get an idea of if it's probable or not that I have Asperger's or some other "ASD"? I'm sorry for being so verbose... I really don't know how to cut down on words without losing perceived intended meanings.
