Book: "Oryx and Crake". Opinions?

Anyone read this book?

Interesting book. For those who haven't read it, I'll give it a warning for sexual content just in case you'd be offended.

The Aspie connection:
The antagonist in this book, Crake, is shown to be an extremely intelligent, manipulative geneticist. The protagonist is called a "neurotypical" by Crake, who, during part of the story, attends a college known by the students as "Asperger's U".

My opinion is that Crake is a sociopath, not an Aspie... but let's see what you people think.

I haven't read the book, but I guess the manipulative aspie is friends with a tall pygmy and a dark skinned albino...and sexual content? Next season the Disney Channel is going to run a kids reality show called "Aspie Bedroom Cameras."

I liked much "Oryx and Crake". The book I liked more of Atwood was "Alias Gace". She is a very good writer anyway. For someone who liked "Oryx" I recommend Ishiguro's "Never let me go". Bleaker, in a way on a similar subject, but very tender and clear heahed at the same time.
