Book: "Oryx and Crake". Opinions?
Anyone read this book?
Interesting book. For those who haven't read it, I'll give it a warning for sexual content just in case you'd be offended.
The Aspie connection:
The antagonist in this book, Crake, is shown to be an extremely intelligent, manipulative geneticist. The protagonist is called a "neurotypical" by Crake, who, during part of the story, attends a college known by the students as "Asperger's U".
My opinion is that Crake is a sociopath, not an Aspie... but let's see what you people think.

I haven't read the book, but I guess the manipulative aspie is friends with a tall pygmy and a dark skinned albino...and sexual content? Next season the Disney Channel is going to run a kids reality show called "Aspie Bedroom Cameras."

Did you say that wasn't proper? Did you march out on the track?
You were quiet, just like mice. And now you say that we're not nice.
Well thank you buddy for your advice...

I love Atwoods books.....I havent read "Oryx and Crake" sounds very surreal?
I am currently reading ..."Running with Scissors"which is pretty good and the main character has a brother with AS....He is quit likable(to me)definitely the sanest of the family.
