Hello Wrong Planet People
My name is Dave and I have an idea well a couple of ideas. Both of which I hope to accomplish in my life time but for now they are just thoughts of goals that I like to see happen. I know that the life of aspie can sometimes heartbreakingly sad at times when we try so hard and want so much to fit in like we see others do with ease and when try to talk to people who are not aspies about this they are really seem ill equipped to understand or offer if they have it suggestions that are really appropriate given the differences between the aspie and the normal. Just maybe there is aspie out there who is alone longing to connect with another person who might be better able to relate with him and talk to him from a point of experience. So I thought about setting up some kind of hotline where an aspie can call in and other aspies who are willing and able can be there to talk them maybe not so much for advice but just as another person who is coming from the same place they are and can understand them. It can all be done anonymously but should you so choose you are free to give your number if you so wish it. I am putting this up hear for ideas and suggestions on how a hotline like this could work and thrive and successful and to see if there would be people out there who would be willing to participate in helping this thing start and thrive. I would love to see this happen as I believe that one the best treatments for aspergers comes from others who have. Thank you for time and let me know what you think and if you be willing to help.
