I am back from my mini-vacation. It was a lot of fun, there were plenty of outdoor stuff to do--something that is virtually nonexistent in Houston. The restaurants were good as well.

Houston has some of my favorite restaurants ever! I'll probably be able to go back there again for winter break, but my mom and I don't know our schedules yet. This is the first year in my entire life where I haven't gotten to visit there yet. I was actually born there and lived there for six years, so yeah. Did you check out University of Houston?

How come there's nothing to do outdoors in Houston? There must be something, surely?

Houston's completely built up. There's no room for anything outdoors!
