I'm thinking of making a youtube series called Ask an Aspie. It's basicly people ask questions in the comments related to aspergers/autism and i'll answer them with what i know and my experiences. The first episode will be about common questions about aspergers/autism and/or until I get questions.

Do you guys think this is a good idea? :?: :?: :?:

[if this is in the wrong section, sorry mods]

It's good idea, but would be better if you got some other Aspie's to do it with you. Remember, we are all different, so one perspective might be a little helpful, but the more perspectives that you have the more people that will be interested and the more you'll be able to help. You would be better off with a video forum, almost like a internet TV program, like "The View" or whatever. I'd be willing to help, but I'm not tech savvy. I think something like that would be extremely helpful. There has to be some Aspies in here that could help you, though. Maybe you could even talk to the creators of "Wrong Plant."

I dont think youtube is a good outlet for this. Much of youtube is talking heads, vanity and parade.

Many aspergian videos there on youtube are educational, but have minimal views and are usually kinda lame

Why not just start a blog

For first episode you could use something like greenturtle74 cartoon to explain what AS is.
Everybody likes cartoon.

I like the idea. If you feel like it is the right thing for you to do---do it. In my dulcimer ministry I tell the audiences some about my Asperger's, and I think it is neat for them to ask me questions about autism. It's a great way to educate them. Good luck on this project.

Gunna post some suggestion of what you could discuss/talk about in the Vlog.

-How does someone with AS see the world?
-What is an ASD
-The diffrent disorders within the spectrum
-How your day was (its a LOG after all :P )

Thats some basic stuff to start with, the first view episodes should keep it simple and you should build it up slowly.
