Are drugs bad?

I am talking about Marijuana,Cannabis,Weed and all that.Are they bad because they are considered and are illegal.Are they bad?

I don't think weed is bad I think cigarettes can hurt you more than weed. To me weed is no different than alcohol.

No drug is harmless, but certain ones can help you out a lot if you know how to use them. Overall, though, they usually end up being helpful only temporarily, and they're not really worth it in the end.

No I do not think Cannabis is bad, I think it has a lot of positive uses, is safer for recreational use than alcohol and like all drugs has some risks associated with it.

Well some prescriptions are worse than some street drugs. Also, street drugs are adultered most of the time, you can never be sure of purity. So in short, yes, they are bad, as they're street drugs. It amazes me, people will buy and smoke a bag of weed that they're completely unsure of the origin/cleanliness/etc of bought from some random dude, but will be alarmed at me like, eating a sealed tin of cookies found in the trash.

So yeah, drugs are bad. Anyway you cut it, using street drugs isn't safe, and there's nobody to sue for malpractice if something wrong goes on.

Mind you I'm not a fan of Western medicine in general, so...

Weed does less damage to you than tobacco or liquor.

Weed can be a bad thing for some people who have highly addictive tendencies.
Like me for instance. I stay away from it now because if I get stoned, I will stay stoned for months, neglecting essential parts of life like hygiene, diet, responsibilities. But that's me, I'm a highly addictive person. I also smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day and drink 6 or more 250ml cans of red bull per day.

Most folks who partake in cannabis, are just fine with doing it every so often, or in a moderate regular manner where it causes no life problems.

Over all compared to other stuff, cannabis is relatively harmless. It's impossible to overdose on. And if it's consumed by vaporizing or in food, causes little or no physical harm.
That can't be said for alcohol, nicotine, or even caffeine. 3 legal drugs that are openly accepted by society.

Now one considers doing something against written law a "bad" thing, then pot is "bad".

as others have already stated, cigarettes and alcohol do more damage than pot... So no, "drugs(pot isn't really a drug, it's an herb)" are not bad. I wouldn't recommend actual drugs like crack, cocaine, heroin, etc. The benefit is outweighed by the risk, and they're honestly not even all that good. I've tried a lot of drugs in my life. I've stuck with pot.

Drugs are bad. Yes they are. However we are not "normal" society folk we have Aspergers.....drugs exhacerbate our condition. MASSIVELY

If you want to do drugs, than do them. It's not up to me whether you should do drugs or not. I'm waiting for the medical marijuana act to come through so that I can have a healthy appetite again and to deal with my tendinitis pain. Pot could actually be good for you if you use it correctly. It's the other drugs that I'm cautious about.

Marijuana, weed, and cannibis are all names for the same drug. I'll say this: there are drugs a lot more dangerous and hazardous to your health than marijuana. M'kay?
