I recently posted about being harassed at school as an older female student. It was so strange, started at the beginning of the semester with little remarks, attempts to embarrass me, hostile tone of voice etc etc.

Anyway, I eventually had to report it since ignoring the little jerk only prompted him to several times follow me down the hall yelling at me.

I see a social worker for "therapy" a couple of times a month because voc rehab pays for my tutor. I informed her of what was going on with this student via email, for her opinion, only after it seemed to not go away on it's own.

Saw the social worker yesterday, we talked a little about this odd young man, I told her all the things I had considered while in that situation, maybe he was having a rough time, maybe I took things the wrong way, maybe he had issues with people my age being in school, maybe he had issues with older women, maybe he had some sort of learning disorder, or other issues that effected his communication skills.

Now, the clueless therapist thing. I had shared with the therapist his hostile outbursts, him several times following me down the hall yelling, (once when I looked and he was yelling in at me while in the elevator about my not taking the stairs, being lazy etc, he seemed to be looking back down the hallway at others he might have been "performing" for.

The therapist yesterday asked me if maybe he had Aspergers!! !! Like people with Aspergers go around harassing people. If anything, people with AS are the least likely to be hostile to someone, heck, AS types find it hard to be hostile to those who are being hostile to them, IMO.
It was hard not to laugh at her, I said "no, I know a bit about Aspergers, and also told her about the fact that his hostility was always in front of others, and when the one time I spoke with him when he was alone, early on, when I was trying to get a grasp of what was going on, he wasn't the least bit hostile.

So, have YOU ever repeatedly, intentionally made hostile, derisive comments, made fun of others, called people names, etc, just out of the blue, some random person you were in proximity to on a regular basis?

Um no. That sounds like an unpopular nt who is picking on someone worse off socially. Bullcrap. If anything he has a disorder that does not allow him to shut up. Obviously there is no way of knowing if he has it off of that, which makes it even weirder that your social worker made it sound like a possibility... Unless there was some twisted psychology mentality going on where she wants you to be accepting of him in case something is in deed wrong with him. There are Soooo many disorders. Why use that one?

Yes, but I have not just got AS and I would certainly not attribute it to my AS. I only did it because I was going slowly insane in a locked facility that WASN'T a mental health hospital or prison! I lost all my rights and ended up bringing everyone down with me. Not proud of it at all and I feel a lot of remorse, hence my ODD label got pulled because usually with ODD you don't feel remorse.

Never. The idea of bullying is something I can't even begin to understand. It seriously baffles me.
