Does anyone have a well balanced diet.

I have noticed that my diet consists of the same stuff day in day out... It hasn't seemed odd, until I thought about it but I pretty much always eat the same thing.

For lunch, it's usually one of three things and usually the same thing every day. For dinner it's usually one of 6 things. I drink the same thing every day (unhealthy) and I have a real difficulty in changing and maintaining a good diet.

Does anyone have a balanced diet? How do you manage to keep up with it?

I am interested in the answers to this question as my son is extremely fussy and eats pretty much the same lunch every day (this is because he is at kinder, and if I try and give him something else, he just won't eat it). For dinner, I make sure he eats a little of what we are eating, otherwise he doesn't get to play his console and get a story before bed so I have a little control at home. I was hoping this would improve as he got older but possibly not.

Well.... balanced.... diet?

That phrase isn't even part of my vocabulary.

I survive almost entirely on drive thru cheeseburgers and microwave meals.

I eat pretty much the sam type of food every day too. I should eat more veggies and fruits for sure.

shellfish, i was a fussy eater as a kid and i'm not even half as bad now. i liked to have the same thing in my packed-lunch every day and for breakfast too, and probably only liked half as much stuff as my brother did for dinner. i was just left to get on with it and outgrew it naturally during my teens. although i wouldn't say i was fussy to an extreme, and my diet was probably still varied enough to be considered balanced- so i guess intervention wasn't necessary.
i think it's important not to push fussy eaters too much, if possible, because part of the reason my diet is now more 'balanced' is that i have managed to come to a point where i actually enjoy food and get some pleasure from it. it was never made an issue when i was a child so i have no bad connotations with it. Sounds like your son's still very young anyway, &i think it's more common in children than people realise

i'm rambling

my diet's not ideal, but pretty balanced

I've found that if you can learn how to pay attention to food cravings then that can actually do a lot on its own. Cravings actually do tell you what you're missing. The trick with this is you need to both be able to identify what you're craving (which not everyone can).

I have a well balanced diet. If that means healthy foods in all categories of the food pyramid.
I do have my favorites and the foods that I will never eat. Cooking is one of my special interests so I want to try new things.
I am going to culinary school in January so I really cant eat the same thing everyday.
When I eat meat I stick to The 3 basics Chicken, beef and pork. I cook them all sorts of ways I love experimenting with spices...
The vegetables I eat are Carrots, broccoli, spinach, asparagus and green beans. I plan on trying more. I also eat starches like potatoes, pasta and rice.
I have a pretty balanced diet Proteins,fats,calcium,vitamins.
I love trying new foods. My eating habits are adventurous and not at all structured.

Sounds very much like my diet, I also eat organic vegetables from the local allotment, I really think it's important to eat food that isn't pasteurized or processed since it lacks enzymes. I tend to very much love eating meat, rice, chicken and potatoes, it sums up most of the my diet. Also I don't drink any stimulants such as caffeine or alcohol, I find that tends to help.
