I love cryptozoology . . . I actually know someone who saw one of these in TX - she has lived in the area all her life and rode up on one on her horse . . . she said she'd never seen anything like it and she's really familiar with the wildlife in the area . . .

I've always thought it would be silly for North America not to have a great ape . . .

Fascinating... though I find it somewhat absurd that an ape lives(d) in North America, much less in modern times where almost no area is left unmarred by human activity.
