Its so painful to receive criticism, its like a wounding. I wish I could take it with a pinch of salt but it just starts getting replayed in my mind for days causing physical discomfort.

So go to a place where you can be criticised objectively, but not emotionally.

ie:

If I create a song that is unlike any other song someone has heard, but I feel it, they can say they hate it, they can say it stinks, but I know its something different..

Give yourself a grounding then go from there, and the criticism of the ignorant should stop affecting you.
