I have noticed that a lot of aspies especially guys like to wear black and white horizontal stripes.
Is this just something ive noticed or is there some truth to this?

I have never seen anyone wearing black & white horizontal stripes, except on TV.
Must be a fashion specific to your country.

Stripes are fashionable right now as are boots. It's just a coincidence. Perhaps there are other fashionable aspies on this forum.

My influences come from Gosling and the GQ men.

Ugh. I'm so superficial.

I love stripes, checkers and plaid. Luckily it's the style these days. :P

I love striped clothing due to the fact that stripes are a prominent design element in Tim Burton's movies, which are a special interest of mine.

Black and white stripes are stylish where I live. Some people like it, some people don't, I don't see why it has anything to do with Aspies.

Idk. I do know that black lines in the patterns of tacky furniture and the limbs of bare trees at night used to scare the **** out of me. When you said stripes I thought this was gonna be a black lines phobia thread :p.

Too bad prison uniforms are no longer black-and-white striped, although orange does have its own charms.

I can't stand stripes. They make me feel ill.

Same but instead of ill, I just don't like how it makes me look.

I have scoliosis and wearing stripes would just emphasize how crooked my back and shoulders are.

Besides that I really don't like to see stripes, it gives me a weird sensation.
