What's yours? Are the music we go to sleep with different from nt ones?

Because... I play green day on loop every single night...

i prefer silence.

I find Tai Chi/Zen music to be very relaxing.

I can't claim autism as I'm still in search of an answer but:
White noise.
I loved sitting in front of the giant fans in grade school... we didn't have air conditioning in the old building. At home I loved the sound of a humidifier. These days I make do with the sound of an air filtering machine. Occasionally I indulge myself with an old style rotary humidifier.
White noise + cool mist= tranquility

I loved green day at your age. Nirvana, too, and the offspring (not very autistic-y though). Coldplay is nice.
I love iron and wine.
But since I was 6 , up until now, paul simon has been the one who can translate all my feelings into songs.

Enya, Michael Buble, Tony Bennett, Coldplay any song that isn't heavy metal, hard rock or techno that can send me off to sleep or people talking in the background like a Am talkback radio station quietly going in the background or a CB radio going in the background. I tend to freak out abit at night it isnt due to be scared of the dark its due to having epileptic fits at night. Im scared Im going to have one at night so it takes a while for me to goto sleep I even leave my TV on all night.

Oh, I had been obsessed with Coldplay recently. I like Simon & Gardfunkel, but a wide variety of music can make me sleepy at night, if I feel drained and tired.

ScientistOfSound, this music is wonderful. IdahoRose, Three Treasures is also marvelous.

What are you on about? What, NTs put on a tune played by a harp and NTs fall asleep to it and Autistics put on a tune played by something else and they fall asleep to it? Everybody's got different things what may send them to sleep, got nothing to do with what way your brain might be wired, jeez!

Carbon Based Lifeforms are amazing, their music is cleverly composed and they create and shape such amazing soundscapes!

Anything along the lines of Foo Fighters (or maybe Bob Marley) will put me to sleep.

I can't sleep without the fan on. I also like the sound of rain, the ocean, and wind blowing through the branches of trees.

I can't possibly go to sleep listening to music. I am a very musically minded person and I can't help but to listen, to notice the patterns and structure of it and maybe hum along. Music engages my mind like nothing else.

I can go to sleep listening to a recording of rain, or ocean waves. Maybe Aeolian harps. But nothing that has actual pattern and structure.

if there were a hell and i was there, then i would be forced to listen to coldplay on loop. Sorry i don't usually diss other peoples music choices but i find them to be bland to the point of insult

i usually listen to a science podcast or nothing. the right music can be nice though

I listen to nature music before I go to bed. I also listen to classical music and Enya before bed as well.
