Anyone else try recording themselves during random times?

You know, like recording yourself while you are doing something like writing a paper, or reading something? Or when you are doing a certain activity you are interested in? I tried it and it is fun to see things on camera that you would not have noticed beforehand. Like, I did not notice I rocked back and forth while making plarn, I also did not realize how ugly I look on camera.

It's a great way to realize how you actually look to other people. I also realize that I look crazy when I am talking to myself... or when I stop for about 10 seconds and either look up at the sky or grab my hair to try and remember what it was I was going to say/type or if I am trying to concentrate, etc...

I probably would not have done anything like this if I did not only get 2 hours of sleep... darn insomnia...

I record myself singing along to green day, makes it sounds like I'm singing with Billie Joe and mike onstage.lol. Fun, fun, fun.

I have, and I'd always erased my spoken word recordings because they embarrassed me.

I used to record myself a lot, mostly talking about my special interests, or something that's worrying me, or just telling some random story about my life. I don't do that any more.

Sometimes I record myself when I sing, to see if anything changes, but nope.....I still suck.....but LOVE singing anyway. Thankfully I only sing when I'm alone at home......and I've recorded myself in my private special interest and think it's interesting to watch how I'm so into it.....concentrating so hard on it.
