Hi! My name is Sam.
I am new to this forum and really just learning about ASDs although I may be somewhat on the spectrum myself.. thats a longer story I wont get into right now. Anyway my short story is I live in Los Angeles with my wife and recently adopted 8 year old son Mike yikes! jumped into the deep end of the parenting pool.
I have been making movies, like Shrek2, and video games for the last 19 years. A few years ago I started developing kids apps on the side. I didn't have much of a goal other than telling some cute stories and learning how to program. We came out with a game called Hop 2 it (VERY simple) and it was so popular we did another called Hop 2 it ABC's. As it turns out they have become popular with the ASD community.
Now to my point.
- How can I help you more with the next app?
You can download a free version just search Hop 2 it on itunes
If your little one responds/likes it.. why? if not, how can we make the next one better?
Please post your idea's, thoughts and suggestions.
Thanks!
Sam

have no kids, am nobody's idea of a proper parent. too scatterbrained to be safe. anyways, if I were a kid my fave app would be a humor app that would give me a funny joke or quip depending on the subject of the moment.

Hi! Nice to meet you.

There's a Parent Forum on this site that would be a great place for a post like this :D

I have a 4YO who knows more about apps and stuff like that than I do because he uses one at preschool and we're too poor to afford one for home. He seems to really enjoy music, so maybe something that is musical and could help a kid with next-to-no attention span actually learn a song?
