Well I'm not a diagnosed aspie but identify that way... I pay heaps of attention to details and they are very important to me - my experience with NTs though tell me that the vast majority find details annoying and stupid. For example - when I had a business I double and triple checked every order to make sure I included exactly what the customer ordered and tracked my orders carefully to make sure everything was done on time. On the other hand, businesses I have dealt with frequently send the wrong thing, are late, have sloppy customer service and when all else fails just deny everything. It drives me insane but it seems to me the majority of the population love to live that way...

Not sure how typical that is experience is...

Or details, which might be the truth anyway. Most lies are not very detailed :)

I don't want to offend, but NTs tend to think more about how they appear to other people. Which means they are not "allowed" to be genuinely interested in something.

I think that's important, too. ^^

I'm closer to God than most people that I know. I also know a few other people on the spectrum who have a very close relationship with God.

' Aspies like, despite of, to know "how the sausage was made" (metaphor)

Not that NTs aren't but that would be a somewhat common exception to the rule.

I second this one.

(I also think it's really funny how the comment right below it goes in the complete opposite direction. :P To each their own!)

I think comfort matters more to us than to NTs, like being more concerned about the feeling of the fabric your clothing is made of, rather than the style it conveys.

Also, the utility of something matters more than style, too. If I wear a ponytail, it's because I need to keep my hair out of my face, not because I think it looks cute.

Proper spelling and grammar also seems to matter more to us.
