For the first time since 1994, I have had a meltdown-free year.

But this year is significant also because I have had quite a bit of stressors, such as:

1. Getting a job I really enjoyed, only to lose it 2 weeks later (structural issues).

2. Continuing to deal with the woman who I considered my soul mate marrying someone else for questionable reasons.

Good for you. How did you avoid them?

I think I had maybe ten this year. Maybe less.

Congrats. Tell you what, just when I was about to exclaim the same thing I had one right in the afternoon of December 31. And it was one hell of a big one by my standards. my mom and grandma started fighting so I went nuts :?

Murphys law? I don't usually have meltdowns.

That isn't to say that I don't get stressed, or have events that are difficult to deal with, I have just been coping better for some reason.

Congratulations TimTex on your meltdown free year. I can't say my year was meltdown free, but I am happy yours was.

For a minute, I thought this thread meant the world was supposed to be ending last year by a ''meltdown''. I got it wrong. :)
