i dont anymore, because ever since i've reached my forties i've lost my energy and turned into a turtle. but in my twenties, i loved walking on my toes. sometimes i'd walk on the soles of my shoes, but it was difficult to maintain for long.
walking on my toes gave some kind of outlet for the hyper energy i had and gave me a feeling of stretching. i like to stretch my arms and legs.

Not really, no. However, I have balance issues and it does make walking easier.

I rarely walk on my toes when wearing shoes, but when barefoot I almost always do. It's rarely a conscious decision, I just do it without thinking.

I like to do it and pretend I'm a dinosaur. And yes, I am almost 25.

Toe-walking is one of my favorite things in life! Been toe-walking since I started walking. Never will stop. The "springy" feeling is amazing.

i am not capable of walking on my toes.
i would have to have 4 feet in order to do that.
i would think it would hurt if i stepped on my toes.

i have been told i sometimes step on other people's toes, but if i do that i am sorry for it.

No. Using the whole of my foot is much easier. I don't like to make things difficult for myself.

I enjoy toe-walking while pacing. It feels so much better than walking flat-footed! However, I have to be careful not to overdo it, because it'll hurt my ankles if I do.

I don't much prefer either way, so I switch a lot. I do find I toewalk a lot though, and like some of the other people here I occasionally do the dinosaur thing. I probably watched Jurrasic Park too many times...

I like to do it when I'm at home. It has this nice feel to it. Walking flat-footed in public feels weird.

Seems like I am able to move faster and quieter that way. Heel contact always make a sound.

Yes, but..
Flat feet & arthritis have kind of ruled it out now that I am 50!

That is a reason why I do it.
For example going to the autism-center to my therapist the building has this echo-ing floor and no carpets and I do toe-walking entering it because of the noise from my own heels touching the floor.
