I'm HFA, as is my daughter. My son has AS.
Their father was NT and the only person on his side of the family with an ASD is adopted.
My father was never diagnosed, but would absolutely have tested on the spectrum. Family stories lead me to believe that several relatives on that side of the family would probably have been as well.
My mother's clinically narcissistic, but otherwise NT. That pretty much sums up her whole side of the family, too. lol

With my genetics, I'm damned lucky I take after my dad's side of the family. Selfish or self involved isn't something I've ever been called, and I'd certainly rather be stubborn, independent, and hard to connect with emotionally. ;) At least ASD are balanced by an up side!

My parents are NTs and so are my three younger sisters. I am the only one in my family that has diagnosed AS. One of my aunts has ADHD on my mom's side but otherwise I don't know about other psychological conditions within my family.
