A statistical average; in other words, a fiction.

Society is built for that fiction, though, so everyone who fits in with society gets to be considered normal, and those who don't get to have fancy names for the way their minds and bodies work...

Hahahahahahahaaha! My thoughts exactly! Perfect....why did I waste so much time thinking that I had to fit in? High school pep rallies are enough for me to reflect on to solidify my vison of what "normal" is.

If anyone was a normal person, this world would be a utopia.

The average person has one ovary, one testicle and a skin colour like a Mexican...

I haven't met anybody like that yet...

Well that would still be possible. But what about having so-many-and-a-half children?

What do you mean by half-and-a-half children? Is that children of a mixed race?

No, I meant how the average [fill in nationality] is said to have two and a half, or four and a half, children.
