Infantile Autism the Syndrome and Its Implications for a Neural Theory of Behaviour by Dr. Bernard Rimland.

I can't get it at my local library and I do NOT want to buy it for seventy something bucks on Amazon.

You could probably find it at a university library, especially one that has a medical school. I doubt you could check it out, but you would probably be able to sit in there and look at it, or make copies. You might be able to check it out though, different libraries may have different requirements. You should call around.

Libraries can get you books from other libraries. It's called "inter-library loan".
I just ordered three books on Asperger this way the other day that are not available at my local library. Ask the librarian for assistance, or, if your library has a computer for searching for books, you can do it that way also. It is almost always free.

This web site shows which libraries should have the book (you can put in your zip code):

http://www.worldcat.org/title/infantile ... lc/6039251

But I'd still call first to make sure they have it before making a trip to the library.

I used to work in a library a million years ago.

Hello!

Thanks for that link. A number of libraries in my area have that particular book.

Have A Great Day!
