In busy places do you feel like there is just too much happening at once? A tv, two children screaming, a telephone conversation, a kettle boiling. Modern living is hell.

If it's planned, I'm fine. I can go into a noisy bar, restaurant, fairgrounds. But I can't handle noise in places that should be quiet. Like a bookstore, some coffee shops, etc. I can't handle too much going on if I'm trying to read or cook. I'm bad a multi-tasking, so cooking several things at once can be very difficult-especially if it's noisy.

Yes, I hate planned noise. I hate it when I'm trying to enjoy some peaceful downtime, and my neighbor's idea of this is to turn on loud Rap music. At least he's been cool about turning it down. I also hate loud, booming car stereos at three a.m. I crave the sound of horse and carriage, peacefully clopping by :D
