I must tell you of all of the book "A Confederacy of Dunces," it is a book that is endleslly funny and depicts what I think to be the Asperger's mentality very well, (in extreme cases). It is about about a 30 year old man who lives with his mother in New Orleans, In the 1950's. He is very intelligent, but neurotic, paranoid, socially ret*d, etc. The book is beautifully written, with awesome, in-depth characters. Everyone in the book is funny. The use of language is inter-spectacular. Please read immediatelly.

Faraquet it sounds really interesting. Is it newly released or can I find it in the library?

Oh, I've been meaning to read that one for ages. I bet it'll be my next obsession once I manage to get my hands on a copy. Heh.

Oh gosh - I read that book years ago and was just thinking about it recently and thinking that I'd like to read it again. Didn't occur to me that the main character might have been an Aspie. Well spotted! I think you may be right....

:)
