I have Asperger's. But I'm still not convinced that it is a form of autism. And this is why I think the DSM-V future changes are absolutely poor.

There are a few here with Low functioning autism so I think you should include that as a poll option.

On a good day, I'm probably considered to be more like BAP. On a bad day, I probably have anywhere from moderate to severe AS. I don't know, it's hard to say for sure; especially because I'm self dx'd.

I see "BAP" and I think "Be A Pro" on FIFA11. What does it stand for?

I have been diagnosed with Aspergers, but am currently getting re-evaluated in light of new information. Despite diagnosis, what I really have is classic autism, and I consider myself to be severe but high-functioning.

BAP is an acronym for Broader Autistic Phenotype. It's commonly used to describe people who have autistic traits and personalities, but are not severe enough to be considered autistic.

This needs a really strong argument to back it up.

Diagnosed with Aspergers at age 47, but then reclassified as PDD NOS, after the psychiatrist found out I had a speech delay until age 4.
