'Too' means as well or also.

'To' is what you are looking for.

But things like busy environments might be harder for those on the spectrum to cope with etc. Colleges can be quite crowded.

You might have some auditory processsing problems:

lots of people on the autistic spectrum find working out what is being said in busy situations hard work... if I'm feeling tired it gets worse.

also I found neurotypicals can work in noisy and very bright rooms, glare doesn't bother them, strip lighting doesn't give them a headache and they don't get distracted by irrelevant noise.

Given the fact that so many urban environments are noisy, bright etc.. means a lot of overwhelming situations, which can contribute to tiring us out...

It was 6 years ago she said that - so what areas have you found to be harder?

I don't know - certain lighting can give NTs headaches. I know someone who had to have a couple of days off work because she was working somewhere with really bright lights, and had got severe headaches from it. Also the humming of the escalators didn't help. And when I was at college, there was a light that kept continuously flashing, and everybody complained about it except me.

NTs are better at working in noisy environments though. They can stay cool and calm and ignore horrible sounds like horrible screaming brats, whereas the sound worries me and distracts my full attention to this one sound and I can't help but get in a panic. So I got to avoid noisy shops unfortunately.
