It has been pointed out in me before, (and made fun of) that when I watch TV, especially films etc. that I make faces, such as unconsciously imitating the character's expressions, or when there is a tense/thrilling/scary moment, frowning etc. Also, when there is an action scene or someone e.g. about to fall/crash or something, I feel almost as if it's me and I unconsciously use my feet against the sofa as brakes or push them down as if it's me that's falling, to stop myself. It's like I'm really drawn into what's going on. I realised I was doing it tonight again, watching something.
It's probably the same reason I can't watch horror films because they seem too real and freak me out and make me feel really shaken up, and I take away a really bad feeling from them.
Am I weird or does anyone else do this?
