I've been doing an 8 year experiment seeing what it's like to be an Aspie as a university project, because I was studying to work in a career, helping autistic children. I've never had any special interests and I'd like to apologize to everybody here.

No way I'd fall for that. If you were NT and acting autistic, the sheer volume of your posts and the depth of your knowledge would mean you were actually autistic with a special interest in autism, and just didn't know it yet!

I've actually been on my guard since yesterday, when a New Zealander, across the International Date Line and a day ahead of the US, put up a really great one on his blog. Had me going, until a couple of friends remarked on the date and on his being a day ahead, and "It's about time!"...
