I know they're not the same thing, and there are people with DS who have autism...

but I have a member of my family with DS directly related to my grandfather, father, and me, and all 3 of us have aspergers symptoms (less in my grandfather, more in my father, and most in me)

is there any kind of genetic link that could indicate if someone has DS in the family, they have a higher chances of aspergers or ASD?

I have no idea, but I know there's nobody closely related to me with DS. Same with Autism.

www.autism.org lists DS as a related condition. However, it just says what DS is.
