There is definitely something you have in common with people with aspergers. The way you described your flapping is pretty much spot on with what myself and other Aspies have described. I will sometimes injure myself because I do it so often when I get excited.

I also found it interesting how you said you get mad at your mother based on conversations you have in your head, as I often react to my inner dialogue by laughing out loud or making facial expressions, which is confusing to other's since they don't usually react so directly to their inner thoughts. This seems to be a trait of people who are introverted, as the brains of introverts are wired to respond more to their inner-world than to the outer world. I'm still not sure how well you do socially since you haven't mentioned much about your social life, and that is considered to be the major area of difficulty in autism spectrum disorder.

I am no expert but for me it sounds like you possibly are on the ASD, but maybe more that you have Tourettes Syndrome. I am diagnosed with Aspergers and have a lot of similar tics and stims ( Like I'm leg flapping right now) but from what you describe it sounds more severe than mine. I'm no doctor but you properly have some kind of autism AND very likely Tourettes Syndrome.
