I'm 24 and sometimes I can act a young as 7, or 12 or late teens or around 40. OK, maybe not 40, but I can act much older than people my age. Everyone around this age seems to act like they're 16 anyway.
It does confuse people that I look so much younger. Some people even think I'm lying.
I think I'm stuck in a 14 year olds body.

Even though I'm short, I think I look about my age.

I have been told I look younger, but I don't think it is drastically younger, like 5 years maybe.

People think that I'm 10 to 15 years younger than I am. I look pretty young for my age.

I've always looked older, but my mother did at this age as well, so I suspect it's more that than anything else.

I would say at least 17- you look your age. Of course, some people just seem to stop aging. When I lived in California I never got carded for alcohol, and then when I got old enough to drink it people started carding me. Once, when I was around 32, I was carded for cigarettes.

It is odd how some of us just stop ageing for awhile isn't it?

Lot of people think I'm younger. Most of them think 20. Some think 16 or 17. I was even asked for ID at the game arcade when it was adults only. They have a bar there and serve beer after five so that's why it's adults only after 5PM. Here it's 21 and up.

I'm a paramedic and and one day I was working a minor school bus wreck in the rain. I had my rain coat on over my uniform shirt and the representative from the school board came over to talk to my partner. When I asked her if the parents had been contacted, she turned to the police on scene and demanded to know what this kid was doing off the bus. The cops (who knew me)started laughing, and I got in front of her and informed her that number one, I was the paramedic in charge of the scene and as such I had the right to have her removed, and two that as a mother if I ever heard her speak to my child like that I would have her head on a platter. Then I informed her that this was why my child would go to a private school, no matter what I had to do to make that happen.

I'm 27 years old, for crying out loud! I had no patience for self-important blowhards like her when I was in school...

Everyone says that I do. I always get mistaken for someone in their late teens to early 20's & I turned 28 in January. It works in my favor because of my inexperience with life.
