Hello,
I used to work for the federal gov until they were unable to reasonably accommodate me and I became unable to work. Has anyone here had an experience dealing with the OPM Disability retirement department within the federal government? I put in for my disability retirement under the disabilities ASD, Anxiety, and OCD, but I am terrified of OPMs ability to function properly. They repeatably request information I've already submitted, lost my application once (was signed for as received by them but it disappeared). To make matter worse, the department I worked for (VA) refuses to sign off as to if they did everything within their power to reasonably accommodate me (they didn't so of course they don't want to sign off). So yeah, has anyone else had experience dealing with this stuff? It has me constantly worried and stressed.

Best thing I can recommend you do at this point is talk to an attorney. While I worked as a contractor for DoD, everything, at least in my perspective, was a massive snafu. I'd let the attorney handle this mess. Better to pay him than put up with all the obfuscation the government is known for.
