Most of the time I always touch my facial hair. As of now I have stuuble on my face which I believe I've had since Monday. Everytime I do I always usually pick the little hairs and even lick them with my tongue. Even when I shave and my face is smooth as a baby's bottom I still feel it for how smooth it is. Sometimes I think about growing a beard mostly so I can cut it off. Sometimes I wish I could have a big beard like Hagrid from HP or Gandalf from LOTR. Maybe I could even hide stuff in there like little pieces of food. But everytime I try to grow a beard I always end up shaving it. I'm wanna try and at least leave it for a week but knowing me I'll probably shave tommorrow.

As a fellow beard enthusiast, I highly recommend it to everyone. People literally take your word more seriously and you get titles like "sir". If you think playing with stumble is fun, imagine feeling it in its thick full form running through your fingers, its amazing. Just keep it tidy and trimmed well, a messy beard is never fun to look at.

It's funny when I read the subject of your post I was playing with my goatee. I prefer a smooth face myself, but I finally goat past the real annoying stubble stage a few months ago, and it's much more tolerable.

What Mankey said is no joke! I work in the service industry and it is amazing how nicer people treat you if you have facial hair. It's nuts.
It's like instant street cred!

I rip my facial hair out: why?

I've been doing it for years!

Pfft, I'm rather fun to look at after two weeks of neither shaving nor trimming. Especially if I wear my long coat and go to buy beer. The effect is even better if I don't brush my teeth. Not quite presentable though. But I had a woman I know tell me I looked "snacky" once, after one week of that and not showering while working as a stage technician. I suspect she doesn't belong to the majority. She didn't like me when I shaved and showered. Glad we never got involved.

The little facial hair I have - it's not really visible on the photo, but it's growing on my chin as we speak - I tend not to grow. However, it's nice to touch, and I'm considering getting a beard like my father. The good thing about that is that I look a lot like my father, but younger and with longer hair, so I basically know what the shape of my face with a beard would look like.
