I do some temp work, but as there hasn't been anything for me, I just got a seasonal job at the local K-mart. One reason I'm doing the temp work is that if a company likes me, they might decide to hire me permanently. Once I get a permanent job that I can depend on, I'm going to start looking for an apartment, right now a one-bedroom or studio will be fine. The apartment is a long-term goal after I get a stable job.
It took many years before I was able to get either job, as with my AS, interviews are the toughest thing for me to get through. It's the reason I got the official diagnosis so I could work with supported employment where they help you with interviews.
