Do you have any skills? Do you play a musical instrument, have the ability to work well with children and do babysitting, know anything about plants
and flowers to work in a greenhouse/floral business, are you able to work in a Dietary Department helping to prepare meals to people in a hospital or nursing home, can you do simple clerical work...?

Prehaps you need to visit the State Employment Office in your locale to ask for advice and assistance and look at the job listing they have for
the jobs offered in your community.

with Valentine's Day coming up florists are scrambling for people to take orders, do deliveries, help out in the back keeping things tidy, etc. I always got work taking phone orders. I like the phone because I don't have to see their faces nor read their body language, they are forced to use just 'words' and words I can deal with.

The best thing I can think of is sell stuff. Maybe perhaps a yard sale. :)

If you are good at typing, there are "data entry" jobs available online. They pay according to quantity, so you can make decent money if you are fast.

It's already been mentioned but, Ebay is a good way to make a quick buck, if you have any junk to sell. :)

Yeah, me too. I have been doing alot of thinking lately, and I'm pretty sure that's why I've been so depressed lately. I know I am capable of doing alot more than I'm doing right now, and it is bothering me. Now, all I need is a plan. :chin:

we only need as much as we need, that is true. Excess isn't really logical. I feel the one factor that has motivated me in my life is I don't want to be homeless anymore. If I am going to live under a roof, with my things around me, I have to find the job, get the job, show up on time, work diligently and keep right on showing up and doing the work day after day after day after day. . not the life I would chose, but it is better than the alternative.

I was hoping that now I understand my diagnosis, my life would become different. But it hasn't. Helpful friends and compassionate professionals showing me how I can live a different existance? Not happening. I am still my own advocate, shyly showing my neurological issues to concerned people that just want me to tell them how to fix it.

but,I digress, having to make money never goes away. I learned early how to cook and I could usually find an immediate job most anywhere. Also, when you cook, you can eat, too!
