I walk in circles or spin , shake my leg and hands , scrape my palms, and press my eyes.....I also chew on things and play with the corners of my mouth
I wring my hands, fiddle with my clothes or hair, bite my lip, chew or pick at my cuticles (disgusting I know). If I am feeling a bit stressed I wring my hands even more and rock. I tend to put my hands up near my face when I am stressed, which probably looks a bit weird.

i walk in circles, flap my arms/hands, hop on my toes, tighten my body (i call it "The Squeeze"), burp, squeak, yell out "excellent" and give a thumbs up, and say/sing a lot of random nonsense (mostly about poop).
i probably do more stuff i have not noticed yet. i am still working on finding myself.

I roll my wrist and shoulder. I also do a thumb to knuckle thing that looks a little like knuckle cracking. I used to hide these with a stretch, but now I just pick my time and place or hold my hand tightly to prevent myself from giving into the compulsion. I also scratch my head in a soothing way, especially when I'm watching tv or a movie.
Oh yeah, I also run things under my nails - like seams. If there isn't a good or accessible seam, I'll fold the fabric and run the edge under my nails.
This may sound weird, but I rock in my head. Probably learned that rocking in public is unacceptable. I often stare into space and find I'm daydreaming of rocking.

- PACE
- chew on my fingers
- scratch/pick at skin/scalp
- rock (mostly side-to-side, but back and forth if I'm upset)
- wiggle my toes
- tap my foot/bounce leg
- play air drum/guitar/piano
- hold my arm in the air above my head

My most common stim is tapping my finger tips to my thumb tip. I also twirl things in my hand or in the air. For as long as I can remember I've sometimes had the sensation I was rocking back and forth, but it was so subtle that I wasn't sure I was actually doing it. It was usually when I was stressed or nervous. Since I joined WP, I started rocking more noticeably.
Not sure if doing a wheelie in my wheelchair could be considered a stim. I do it all the time. Sometimes I don't even realize I'm doing it.

- Clasp or stretch my hands.
- Tap fingers (particularly right ring finger).
- Straighten, pull and smooth clothing.
- Stroke lips or suck on items.
I also have a strange stim behaviour when alone, starting with finger clasps then progressing into smacking and flapping my hands along with strange noises and swearing - it's similar to stereotypical Tourette type ticks (I don't have Tourette syndrome - and sorry for stereotyping).

I pace in my room whenever I have to think. Sometimes when I have a thought that feels profound, I'll stand up, and as its implications wash over me I'll fall onto my bed. I also pull hairs from my chin; the feeling is akin to the satisfaction one might feel in pulling a weed from a garden and knowing it no longer taints the soil. I actively engage in efforts to curb my hair pulling; it is an affliction I'd rather be without.

- Rub my feet together, move them from side to side or move my toes back and forth
- Rock back and forth
- Rub my hands
- Rub the skin above my left eyebrow
- Fidget with things
- Sometimes, when I'm really excited, I jump up and down or flap my hands
- Talk to myself (not sure that counts as stimming)

Pacing, hand flapping, toe walking, spinning, talking to myself, and last but not least running up the stairs on all fours.

I do this really weird finger flapping one with my hands on my face, pacing, playing with my hands, biting nails, biting the inside of my cheeks, doing certain very fast blinking patterns, certain very low-air-movement breathing patterns, probably also playing music (often when I stop playing I will immediately (and involuntarily) go into some sort of stim - usually the first one I mentioned). The list goes on.

I used to do that all the time when I was a kid. Not just stairs though, all around the house!

I've been a trichtillo since early on, I chew on the longer strands and not fully aware I'm doing it until someone yells at me to stop.
Any sort of clicky thing; usually a vacuum sealed twist cap from a pickle jar or something, pens, butane lighters, I try very hard not to do it in an environment where people are trying to focus. Any random small handheld item I grab from a tabletop suffices. I do the balancing pen on my knuckles thing, I try to make larger items fit in my mouth, though not all the time
Knee bouncing
Shifting around in chairs and tipping them
Yanking at my shirt collar
Pulling shirt collar over my nose, sometimes to block smells, sometimes just because
Lip and cheek chewing
Flexing big toe when I have shoes on
Experiencing a hand flapping revival
Talking to or at my stuff
Rotating my legs when I want to sleep
Picking up objects with my feet
Cracking my nose
Nail biting
Arm biting - my own
Bird sounds
Flexing my fingers
Parroting music and movie dialog
Can't really think of anything else
Although when I am out riding I haven't noticed any typical stims
