Can someone please tell me what the different rankings are and mean? I've searched this site and could not find any info on it. Just curious.

I wondered about that over in General Moderators. Still have no answer. Wish I could change my title, though.

You don't like being a 'Tufted Titmouse'? I'm not sure how the ranking works either, but I just became a 'Sea Gull'.

I've been this since I hit about 500 posts.

I don't even know what it is. I didn't like being a "raven" though, as they really creep me out.

I just made Velociraptor! I now have the title to go with my raptor like little toes...... I feel so emotional.....

Thanks to Tiny for providing me with my PC, and Wannadoo/Freeola for providing me with broadband/dial-up access...... A special thanks to the moderators for not deleting any of my posts or blocking me out despite serial provocation on my part (I love you guys....)....... Thanks to my pathetic excuse for a life for giving me nothing better to do with my evenings than troll around on a BBS...... Thanks to my mother for..... (hang on - lets skip that one )..... Most of all, thank you to Baby Jesus..... I love you all, and goodnight!! !! ! (cue floods of tears)

Maybe custom ranks would be nice, but it could get pretty time consuming with so many people....

Some of the forums I'm on let members replace their ranks with their own titles. They do it themselves through a field moderators can put in the User Control Panel.

Yes, I think we should be allowed CTs. Every other Message board has them.

You can change them in user profile.

There doesn't appear to be a way of adding this using the standard forum control panel, as you know forum systems vary - this one is a port of phpBB incorporated into our content management system, perhaps it is something we can look into. Leave it with me...

You should upgrade it. I can't even tell which threads i've posted in.

I can add that custom rankings feature. You should be able to view a list of threads you've posted in by clicking "your posts." If you want something to be upgraded, just post a message in theb ug reports forum.
