My mind seems to constantly wander into the past to the point where I wake up some mornings and feel it's 15 years ago.
Some songs leave me with such vivid memories that it's like I am living it all over again.
It just feels like I have no sense of time making things that happened 20yrs ago felt like just yesterday!

Sometimes when thinking of past conversations I start to respond as if I am having that conversation again, but it only lasts for a few seconds. I know I am not literally in the past, but for a moment I react as if I am.

Interesting... I do understand the conventions of past and present and future... but I often feel that they really aren't as separate and distinct as many people assume. The present is deeply rooted in the past, and the seeds of the future are already sprouting in it.

It is rare for me to be literally confused, since I learned long ago to internally 'monitor' this - but I spend more time than most people thinking about the past & the future, and events that are "over" are as important to me as ones that are occurring. So my sense of time is a bit "slippery" as well.

(Off Topic) @ Verdandi - I love the kitten you're using for your avatar. I mean, I'm a sucker for any kitten, anyway, but she looks special.

What am I saying??? They're all special... Still, please give her some catnip for me, or something.

That kitty is Miss Kitty Fantastico from Buffy's 4th Season when Willow and Tara shared a dorm room and bought a kitten:

I wish I had a kitten right now, but I am sadly without kitten. Or cats of my own.

That happens to me a fair bit. There are some times that my brain associates events of the present with events from my past and things get a little mixed up.

I get time mixed up, things that happened weeks ago I will refer to as yesterday. I have to really think about it to correct myself which can cause odd gaps in conversations
