My most pleasant is "outside the box" thinking which allows me to solve problems in new, creative ways.
My most unpleasant is social isolation.

Most pleasant: Pattern recognition, excellent long-term recall (can also recall conversations verbatum, once I re-order the sequence since it gets stored out of order  ), also can replay "movies" of things that happen to me.

Least pleasant: Suicidal thoughts resulting from existential crisis.

I was actually thinking of putting that as my original answer, because my special interests seem to be a double-edged sword for me - on one hand I get immense enjoyment out of them. But on the other hand, my interests also tend to cause me distress at times, such as when other people make negative comments about them and it causes me to question whether I should continue to pursue them, or if I simply can't decide what direction I want to take them in anymore (especially if I've had them for a long time).

Well something that I have been obsessing about lately, is the inability to socialize normally with others.

I mean, I can talk and be polite and pretend, but while that's happening I feel like an alien observer, making notes for my own kind, or something? Sometimes I think I'll be beamed up into my home ship and taken back to whatever planet I originate from.

Most pleasant would be my organization skills. :P I just love the feeling once everything is colour coordinated, or put in alphabetical order, or just organized in some other way.

I also like that I can figure out how many things work just by looking at them and mentally taking them apart.

Mine is closer to obsessive personality. I fixate on things and don't care about anything else, it doesn't have to be 'special interests', although I certainly fixate on those. I'm trying to think of a way to say this without saying too much... I will go to unusual lengths to get the outcome that I want. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad.

Pleasant - Asperger's in my case makes me highly adaptive and quick to learn.
Unpleasant - Meltdowns, a 29 year old crying like a baby is never a good thing.

Pleasant- my excellent attention span (i.e sustained attention) when I'm motivated and/or interested in what I'm doing

Unpleasant- can't choose just 1 so: 1) sensory overload in noisy crowded places 2) social awkwardness and misunderstanding ppl 3) anxiety (often related to AS symptoms)

Most pleasant: the feeling I get from doing things involving my special interests; my uniqueness (personality-wise)
Most unpleasant: mix of social issues, and involuntary compulsive repetitive actions.

My idea of what is most unpleasant about my autism may be different on other days, though.
