Do you or your primary carer do exactly as the doctor says. I'm struggling with this. Paedatric doctor wants my daughter to see a dietician, even after I keep saying my grandmother was petite at 4ft.
She asks me if I want to go private or public waiting list to see a dietician. I look at my husband he won't say, so I say private, cause I dont want to be judged as the mother who makes her daughter wait for dietary advice. Fact is, I know all her blood work and faecal study came back normal and her older brothers ate the same food, and are healthy weight and height. She is below average, but what do you call average?
She really only has problems with set custards and jellies, sago etc and fat in chicken and red meat. We can get around that.

I feel sometimes doctors, specialists, like to pump up business in my opinion, especially if this private dietician works in paediatric doctors practice.

I'm going public to my community health care centre and it will cost me $9.00 next week to see a real dietician that won't charge me $300.

grumble over and out
