Hi, everyone!

I bet you all are aware that I have re-located to Seattle, but I also know that it is Thanksgiving Day on the East Coast.

Is everyone preparing for Thanksgiving? If so, how?

I want to let you all know that I am extremely thankful for Wrongplanet because it is a haven for people like us.

I don't know what the big controversy about a big change here in the near future, but I did sign the "Save Wrongplanet" petition and I mean that I support this forum.

I like it here, and I thank everyone for making me feel like a part of Wrongplanet. You are a wonderful group!

Thank you both!

I'm glad that your Thanksgivings are going well! I hope Wrongplanet is not in jeopardy! I don't want this to happen, especially during the holiday season!

Willow, I hope you feel better!

I'm British, therefore we don't celebrate it here. :)

Of course! That's why I'm not putting any pressure on British people to contact me today!

I have a turkey breast in the oven, with margerine, pepper, Old Bay seasoning, and hot sauce on the outside, stuffing on the inside inside. I am having a heck of a time keeping it moist, though. I think it's my oven, it's missing it's bottom burners and seems to dry things out quickly. I'll keep my fingers crossed. :) I have sauerkraut, dinner rolls, and a lot of other fixings on the way, but since the turkey could take a while, I'm holding off on preparing those. :)

I'm just hanging out mostly by myself today, cooking, watching football, and listening to Alice's Restaurant on the radio. I enjoy the holiday more that way than going to some large social gathering (Which are usually kind of overwhelming for me).

I don't know anything about what you're talking about, but, just on the surface of things, a big change to a site devoted to people who's neurological condition often causes them to hate all changes and have problems adjusting to them, just strikes me as "A. BAD. IDEA.". :)

Thank you!

It sounds like you're having a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm glad to hear that!

The big controversy about there being a big change in the near future I just found out, is that this site may be sued due to a troll posting here!

I hope that doesn't happen! Especially during the holiday season! This is a great place!

My mom and I are travelling six miles to have Thanksgiving at my grandparents' place. Talk about boring! It'll just be the four of us and I'll probably eat the same things today as I do each year: turkey skin dumped in gravy, rolls with butter and jelly, and olives. Yep, that's my meal! lol Anyway, I'll probably end up watching The Rugrats Movie or something there (it's on Nickelodeon today).

I'm taking care of my neighbor's cats and dogs and fish and plants so he can go have dinner with his boyfriend's family in West Palm Beach. His name's Bob.

What's for supper, Bob?

I wouldn't worry about that. There are trolls on sites across the Internet, and as far as I know there aren't successful lawsuits that are brought against them on any sort of regular basis. As long as WP has a good legal disclaimer that folks agree to during the account signup process (I don't recall whether or not that's the case, but it probably is), there probably isn't much real legal liability to the site itself (Perhaps the troll may face some legal liability, depending on what he/she said). With that said, I'm not a lawyer, so I'm probably wrong. :)

so, i'm sitting here waiting for my uncle to come over and bring the rest of the food so we can eat...my brother's friend is coming over and i always get this feeling that he hates me or somethin'...i think i'll just keep myself busy with a plate of food. i could just ignore him :D

yes, i like the ignoring plan.
