Do you sometimes find your personal needs conflict with your values? One example: When you space out in the shower or need the seclusion and positive sensation to cope but you hate to waste water and fuel. Another: When you hate the excessive and wasteful packaging, as well as the nutritional limits, of convenience food, but sometimes dealing with making yourself something to eat that will actually be palatable enough to get it down your throat in the moment you need it is just too much to deal with unless you take advantage of such food. What do you do to resolve situations like these? Are there some you can't resolve? How do you make your peace with the situation when you can't work out a solution?

Logic. But also, it often comes down to weighing "machine maintenance" vs "how much $$ i gots". and if the money isn't there, then it doesn't matter what the machine needs. just keep going. feed it enough so that it keeps moving and thinking ok.
