Then you're ignoring the work of Hertz and Eddison. Just because someone has the patent doesn't mean they are the primary inventor

Take a look at FM radio. Armstrong is only RECENTLY recognized as the inventor of the FM radio, yet he had the patents first for it and recognized as it's primary inventor. RCA wrestled it's own patent, Armstrong lost tons of patents because he couldn't defend himself in all the lawsuits to claim them. The man killed himself in the end because he lost his FM radio lawsuits. The man had no patents left because of theft.
Edison also sold his patents to Marconni who then lost several of them and his own because the U.S. Army wanted to patent their own device.
I can promise you Tesla didn't invent the radio on his own
